MARUYA Omakase & Sushi a La Carte

*Gozen Dinner Set  65 (Option for SF Restaurant Week 2021)
The dinner set is comprised of owan (soup), kobachi (appetizer) and a small dish of pickles. 

A variety of slices of fish are served on a vinegar seasoned rice along with wakame (seaweed) in

a dark gold colored lacquered box.   It is a great alternative other than omakase.

*Nigiri Omakase   95 (Available During SF Restaurant Week 2021 But Excluded From Promotion)

Amuse-Bouche (the omakase begins with a small dish to complement the course menu)

Kobachi (the first appetizer dish)

Zensai (consists of 3  varieties of small dishes of appetizers served simultaneously)

Nigiri (8 pieces of sushi to which each fish is prepared with either a slight brush of soy sauce or accompanied with a topping)

*Otsukuri (aka Sashimi) Omakase   95 (Available During SF Restaurant Week 2021 But Excluded From Promotion)

A great option for our guests who prefers thinly sliced fish without rice.

What to Expect When Dining with Maruya's Omakase.

The chef's omakase is a  dinner course menu which consists of a series of small dishes followed by the main course, sushi,  sashimi or vegetarian maki.

If the amount of rice is too little or too much, please ask the chef or the food server to adjust the size.

Feel free to ask the chef or the food server to adjust the amount of wasabi in accordance to your taste.

The chef's omakase will unfold in the following order listed above.

*Sushi a La Carte (Available Only After Omakase Course)

*Consuming raw or under cooked seafood, shellfish, poultry, meat or eggs may increase your risk of food borne illness.  

Most of the fish featured in our omakase, sushi a la carte and dinner set are flown from Japan.

The vegetarian dinner set ingredients contains dashi broth.
